My Career Path

My career began here when I was a college intern during my junior and senior years at Purdue University. As an intern, I worked as a basic IT intern, handling tasks such as deploying machines, servicing printers, and assisting wherever needed.

Upon graduation, I joined the company full-time as a Lotus Notes Programmer and Administrator. After about a year in that role, I transitioned into the SAP world as a Business Analyst in Manufacturing Planning and Control Systems. Throughout my journey, I gained a wealth of knowledge, including the experience of living through a merger when Great Lakes was acquired by Crompton Chemical and became Chemtura.

Wabash National

I left Chemtura to become the IT Director at Wabash National in Lafayette, IN. I was hired after their initial SAP deployment and tasked with stabilizing the system and driving value from the recent implementation. This marked my first journey into true business transformation and understanding how IT can create business value. It was an exciting time in both my life and career, and I grew alongside the company as it expanded.

I was proud of many accomplishments at Wabash, but I was most proud of delivering an SAP deployment in 30 days for an acquisition.

During the economic downturn of 2008, I was recruited to lead the enterprise deployment of an SAP 4.7 solution across 34 branches. This role focused on driving business process standardization, enhancing operational efficiency, and establishing governance. I served as a trusted advisor to senior executive leadership, including the Divisional President, CFO, CIO, and COO, ensuring alignment between technology initiatives and functional strategy.

I became the IT Director for the Mechanical Security Solutions division, overseeing a $14 million USD budget. During my tenure, I took a career sabbatical from IT to serve as the Director of Sales Operations. This was a pivotal moment in my career; it challenged me beyond my IT discipline and highlighted the critical role IT plays in a business's success or failure.

My transition to Delta Faucet was driven by what I refer to as a "unicorn" project—the opportunity to lead a greenfield implementation of SAP S/4HANA for a consumer goods company. While this was a cornerstone of my time there, I also oversaw the digital marketing systems and ventured into the world of e-commerce and Salesforce. This experience, combined with my recent roles at Stanley and my deep knowledge of SAP, allowed me to continue growing my career. It was also the first time in my career that I witnessed firsthand the effects of ERP fatigue on a company.

Building on my recent successful implementation of S/4HANA at Delta Faucet, I shifted my focus to consulting, working with multiple clients instead of just one company. This experience was intriguing and allowed me to gain a valuable perspective on what works well for my customers and me. I assisted GyanSys in establishing the Speedy Program for S/4 migrations and also worked on several RFPs, successfully winning clients' business and trust.

Equipment Technologies gave me time to discover what I was truly passionate about in my career. As the CIO, I oversaw not only IT, but digital marketing and inside sales. During my time here, I truly learned how to maximize results with a small team. I also learned from the company's founder about the importance of the customer voice.

As a global IT leader, I manage the organization’s ERP strategy, architecture, and integration on an enterprise-wide scale. My primary goal is to ensure that the business can operate successfully from Order Entry to Invoicing to Decision Making. This role in my career builds on all my previous experiences while also allowing me to pave new paths by bringing innovative solutions that deliver measurable business value and outcomes.
